Abby Foster is recognized for design work that seamlessly blends traditional motifs and lighthearted elements to create rooms rooted in personality and livable elegance. Drawing on a deep knowledge of the history of interior design and the decorative arts, she takes the best of historical American, English and Continental design and adapts them for contemporary living.
Her collaborative approach to design, focusing on her client’s needs and goals, combined with her attention to detail and service, results in a process that is professional, transparent and orderly.
A lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, PA, Abby resides with her family in a lovingly restored historic home in Squirrel Hill. With a busy family life, including two children, husband, beloved dogs and career, Abby understands how hard a house must work to support the family that calls it home.
Abigail is an Allied ASID member and studied at Chatham University’s CIDA accredited Masters of Interior Architecture program, with a focus on residential design.
